THE IDEA
Come for the coffee. Stay for the feeling.
Merutsu House is not a traditional dog café. It is a quiet, modern retreat where coffee, food and dogs become part of a slower way of spending time. A place to arrive, breathe, connect, create, eat something good and simply stay a little longer.
THE HOUSE
A house, not a café.
The vision is simple: a small house surrounded by nature, designed to feel warm, intimate and lived-in. Wabi-sabi, modern architecture and a quiet tropical home — shaped by natural wood, stone, linen, ceramic, plants and soft natural light.
Not overly designed. Just deeply considered.
COFFEE
Good coffee. No rush.
Coffee is at the heart of Merutsu House. The goal is a thoughtful specialty coffee experience — from beans and roasting to espresso, milk, water and the final cup. The evolving menu will explore espresso, milk coffee, matcha, hojicha, tea and signature drinks.
SIGNATURE FOOD
Small things. Done really well.
The food menu will stay intentionally small: a few things worth returning for, made with care. These are early ideas, not a final menu.
CAKE FLIGHTS
A little of everything, slowly.
Small versions of familiar cakes shared as a tasting experience — marble, lemon, carrot, cheesecake, brownie, banana bread and seasonal ideas still to be developed.
DOGS
Dogs are part of the house.
They are not the attraction. They are part of the atmosphere. Merutsu House is designed around calm, respectful interaction — with designated rest areas, no forced contact, proper care, veterinary support and exercise beyond opening hours. The first dogs will be the founder’s own.
SLOW LIVING
Stay a little longer.
The experience is larger than coffee. It is about choosing a different pace for an hour, an afternoon or a whole unplanned day.

CREATE
A quiet place to think or make.
CONNECT
Time with friends, family and dogs.
EAT
Small, beautiful things made with care.
REST
Doing nothing is completely acceptable.
THE ATMOSPHERE
The feeling comes first.
LOCATION
Somewhere between Hua Hin and Pranburi.
The current direction is Pak Nam Pran and the Hua Hin–Pranburi area in Thailand. The exact location has not been decided. The future house should feel peaceful, close to nature, connected to the local community and easy to reach by car or scooter.
The right place is still being found.
BUILDING THE HOUSE
The journey starts long before the doors open.
Merutsu House will be built slowly: through coffee learning, specialty café work, concept development, finding the right place in Thailand, design, construction and eventually welcoming the first guests.
